Brandie Reisman

Brandie is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling. As part of her graduate training, she completed an internship providing mental health counseling to Division I collegiate athletes, gaining experience in performance psychology, stress management, and identity development in high-achieving populations. Her clinical interests focus on the integration of natural environments and adventure therapy into therapeutic interventions and counseling practices, with an emphasis on experiential and strengths-based approaches. She is particularly interested in how physical activity—such as cycling—can be leveraged to support emotional resilience, cognitive functioning, and social connectedness. Her research explores the role of lifestyle, environment, and accessible community-based interventions in promoting holistic mental health. Brandie is committed to advancing inclusive, evidence-informed practices that bridge clinical care and wellness-oriented prevention strategies.
