What began as a modest youth cycling program, with just three riders, has blossomed into a powerful community-wide movement, thanks to Toyia’s dedication and her partnership with Outride. This isn't just about kids learning to ride bikes; it's about transforming lives. Toyia's work, deeply rooted in her passion for youth development, showcases the profound impact of cycling – a topic she’s continuing to explore as she pursues her PhD. Toyia's initiatives demonstrate the far-reaching potential of two wheels.

Our team is so excited for you to learn more about Toyia’s impact and other’s in our upcoming 2024 Outride Impact Report. We'll share more inspiring stories of our community in action, highlighting the dedication of Riding for Focus Champions, the resilience of our students, and the power of partnerships to transform lives through cycling.

The report will highlight Outride’s outcomes from 2024 and share some truly inspiring stories about the Outride community in action - featuring Riding for Focus Champions and Students (spoiler alert: riding hills bolsters resilience!), community partners, research collaborators, and more. These stories (and many more like them!) continue to fuel our team's passion and drive us to better support our community. We’ll also share our plans for the future and highlight two key initiatives we’re focusing on in 2025 (hint: we want to take our mission further to reach even more people), reaffirming our continued commitment to empower all people to experience the social, emotional, and cognitive benefits of cycling.
