Grant Programs
Outride offers two grant programs, Riding for Focus and Community Impact Grant, that both aim to empower people, especially youth, to experience the social, emotional, and cognitive health benefits of cycling. Click on the below dropdown links to learn more.

Our in-kind (non-monetary) grant for establishing a Riding for Focus (R4F) program. An R4F grant includes a fleet of bikes, helmets, curriculum, training module, program evaluation services, and access to our nationwide R4F community.

Our monetary grant that supports implementing programs that increase access to cycling.
Community Impact Grants support a wide range of cycling programs, including:
Rider education programs
After school programs
Earn-a-bike
Racing and development teams
Bike parks and pump tracks
Skills camps
Workforce development in the cycling industry
Community ride programs
We make grants that:
Identify specific, measurable goals and objectives that are aligned with our mission to empower all people to experience the social, emotional, and cognitive benefits of cycling
Have clear strategies or programs to achieve those goals
Support an equitable, inclusive, and diverse cycling community
We do not fund:
Political campaigns
Standalone events
Individuals
Bike advocacy/policy/lobbying initiatives
Programs not focused on cycling
Cycling programs without an intentional focus on social, emotional, and cognitive health or expanding equity and access
Outride has granted our Riding For Focus Program to 400 schools across the US and Canada.
